The Sea Lion Discovery program invites you to enjoy an experience that will exceed all your expectations and dreams. Your day with sea lions in the Mexican Pacific begins at our facilities in Dolphin Discovery Vallarta, located inside Aquaventuras Park.
 
Our silly sea lions will wobble onto stage, ready to show off their tricks. As part of the program, you will learn about their diet and an interesting array of facts about our California Sea Lions.
 
Get a whiskery kiss and smile. These marine mammals are silly, kind, lovable and interact well with humans—reason why they are featured in many aquatic parks. Apart from the program, enjoy an entire sea lion show.
 
Sea Lions can grow to live up to 25 to 35 years in captivity, whereas sea lions in the wild live up to 15 years. The most common sea lion is the California Sea Lion. We have 5 in Puerto Vallarta.

    Sea lion area is open every day.

    The Aquatic Park is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 06:00 p.m.

    Maximum 12 people per group

    Minimum Age: 8 years old 

    Children aged between 8 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult (per child) to participate in the program.

    Restrictions
    • The use of safety vests is required in all water programs.
    • For safety reasons, pregnant women with more than 5 months are not allowed in this activity. Pregnant women with 5 months or less will be able to participate only if accompanied by another adult and having signed the responsibility form.
    • If you have any physical or mental limitation, please call us before you purchase your program.
